Camfed, the Campaign for Female Education, is thrilled to announce exciting internship opportunities for students in 2025. We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of eradicating poverty and inequality through the education of girls and young women. As a Camfed intern, you will have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on educational policies, gender disparities, and socio-economic factors affecting girls' education in marginalized communities.
  • Support Program Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs, ensuring they align with Camfed's goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Advocacy: Contribute to the creation of compelling content for various platforms, including social media, to raise awareness and advocate for girls' education.
  • Data Management: Assist in collecting and analyzing data to measure the impact of Camfed's programs and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a relevant field (Education, International Development, Social Sciences, etc.).
  • Strong academic background with a genuine interest in education, gender equality, and social impact.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive attitude, ability to work independently, and collaborate within a team.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse environments.
  • Passion for social justice and commitment to Camfed's mission.

Experience:

While prior internship or volunteer experience in a related field is a plus, we welcome enthusiastic individuals with a strong desire to learn and contribute.
